Return Goods Policy


Authorization 
i. Prior authorization from Acella Pharmaceuticals, LLC is required for all returns.
ii. The Return Authorization Number must be displayed on the shipping carton containing the returned goods. Please include a copy of the Returned Goods Authorization Form (RGA) with each carton of multiple carton returns.
iii. Please request Return Authorizations through Acella’s Customer Service via email at customerservice@acellapharma.com or Fax at (678)-746-0717.

All Return Good Requests must contain the following:
Account Name and Address
Name of item(s), NDC #(s), Quantity, Lot Number(s) and Expiration Date(s)
Reason for Return
Debit Memo Number
 
Terms of Return Policy 
All returns are subject to review by Acella Pharmaceuticals. Issuance of RGA number does not guarantee credit. Credit issuance is dependent on confirmed receipt/review of returned goods. Unauthorized returned goods will be destroyed but credit will not be issued. Acella Pharmaceuticals will not reimburse fees due to processing third party returns, destruction charges, shipping costs or processing.
 
Products Eligible for Return 
i. Unopened packages of Short-Dated items up to six (6) months before the expiration date and Expired items up to twelve (12) months after the expiration date.
ii. Products shipped in error by Acella Pharmaceuticals.

Non-Returnable Items 
i. Products retained more than twelve (12) months beyond expiration date.
ii. Repacked goods.
iii. Open packages or packages from which labels, lot numbers and expiration dates have been removed or refaced in     any manner.
iv. Products sold on a non-returnable basis, free goods, samples, partials, short-dated items sold as such or product that is not sent to the Qualanex Return  Center for processing.
v. Products damaged due to insurable causes such as fire or natural disasters, or if damaged/deteriorated due to improper handling or storage by the customer.
vi. Donated Charitable Merchandise.
vii. Overstocked goods
viii. Merchandise remaining after a bankruptcy, fire or distress sale.
ix. Merchandise purchased or distributed contrary to federal, state or local laws.
x. Non-approved items
* Products must be in the original Acella Pharmaceuticals labeled containers. 
 
Conditions For Credit 
i. All returns must accompany a valid Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number
RGA Numbers are valid for 90 days from issuance. Expired RGA Numbers will be considered invalid and no credit will be issued.
All products must be returned to  Qualanex within 90 days to receive credit.
ii. Product that has been destroyed by customers or an agent of the customer will not receive credit.
iii. Product must be in original, unopened, unaltered container to receive full credit.
iv. Product must be returned by the customer who purchased the product from Acella. Credit will be issued to direct     accounts. No credit will be issued to direct customers through a wholesaler.
Returned products will be verified by  Qualanex and the final credit will be calculated based on  Qualanex’s count.
 
Valuation of Returns 
i.   For direct purchasing customers, a credit will be issued based upon the lower of the current direct price at the time the returned merchandise is received OR the original invoice price; deducting any discounts, allowances and fees.
ii.  For indirect purchasing customers, a refund will be issued based upon the lower of the current indirect price at the time the returned merchandise is received, the original indirect price at point of purchase from the wholesaler OR the original purchase price.
iii. Credit will be issued only to direct accounts. Indirect purchasing customers shall seek any credit due for return goods shipments through their wholesaler.

Shipping Errors/Damaged Shipments 
Products shipped in error, defects, products damaged in transit, overstock and shortages must be reported to Acella Pharmaceuticals within ten (10) working days of receipt by contacting Acella Customer Service at (800)-541-4802 or by fax at (678)-746-0717. These products must be returned to Acella Pharmaceuticals within fifteen (15) days of receipt to receive credit.
Transportation Charges 
All returns must be prepaid by customer except when error is due to Acella.

Disclaimer
Acella Pharmaceuticals does not pay or reimburse fees incurred for the processing of or destruction of products processed through a third-party returns processing company.
Acella Pharmaceuticals reserves the right to change or update this policy.
Products that do not qualify for credit or reimbursement will be destroyed and not returned to the customer.
This policy is subject to the laws within the governing jurisdiction of the customer.
